Biography:

Tiffany began work at a community mental health center, Centerstone, in the school-based counseling program. She worked with elementary and middle age students, some placed at a severe behavior intervention school. Her direct practice work at Centerstone included conducting individual and group therapy sessions, and working with families in a case management capacity. She also worked closely with school staff, participating in IEP meetings, and school trainings. Soon after earning her license, she became a supervisor in the school-based counseling program, managing staff and leading clinical supervision.

Eager to return to full time clinical work, she joined Counseling Associates of Mt. Juliet in 2007.  In July 2019, she relocated her practice to Nashville.  She works with children age 4- 18, as well as adults. Her approach is eclectic, drawing upon a variety of theoretical approaches including systems, cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic and psycho educational. She enjoys working with all ages and has a multi-purpose office with space for play therapy activities as well a comfortable space for traditional talk therapy. She believes mental health is equally important to physical well being, and that a multi-prong approach (anchored by the therapeutic relationship) is available and accessible for all clients.
